Chad Juniper
“I want to make things filled with sentiment in a world where cynicism is becoming all too common. As a kid it was writing short stories, parody songs, and making elaborate continuities for my action figures. Now, it's short films, photography, and everything in between. Yet, the purpose hasn't changed. I'm flooded with stories of art and what it means to me. The dark pits it's pulled me out of. I hope people can leave Chadacon knowing that you have to bet on yourself, because no one is going to take that leap for you.”
-
Jay Houser
Most of what I do I would categorize it as digital art. Sometimes it'll be an animation synced to music, and other times it’s just a single rendered image. If my artwork can convey what I was feeling while creating it, or convey the feeling a song gives me when I listen to it then I count that as a success. So often we are limited by words and language when expressing ourselves, so I think art is important as a universal language. It gives us the ability to almost copy a feeling or memory and send it straight into someone else's head without the misunderstandings that using words can introduce.
-
ZION RANGEL
“I produce electronic music and DJ with a focus on blending electronic with trap and mainstream pop. There are moments I’ve felt closer to some kind of higher power or purpose when traveling or with loved ones and within that i’ve felt that through art something be explained that’s hard to encapsulate with words. A web of connection between all humans that we cannot see and illusions preventing us from that connection. Feeling that interconnectedness is what drives me to create. i hope people see my work and are reminded of what it means to be human”
-
FABIANA ESPINOZA CHAVES
“I was heavily exposed to the value of nature and the influence humans have on the environment because I was born and raised in Costa Rica. My primary goal in taking pictures is to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our environment, specifically our fauna. I really think that knowing equates to caring and that’s what my photographs are all about. I believe that if I can help even a small number of people learn about these animals' existence I am supporting their protection and preservation!”
-
QUYEN NGUYEN
“I design and draw characters with a heavy focus on color values and composition. I mostly create original works for my own characters or commissions for clients. My main focus when i create art is fulfilling my desire to see my characters and ideas envisioned and solidified. My biggest dream has always been having an animated show so the act of drawing them down and perfecting their shapes, expressions, and color is a creative and cathartic way for me to realize that dream.
-
DJ ANDRES IN PROGRESS
“I’m a self-taught DJ who started during the Covid-19 pandemic after being bored in my room for so long. I’ve always loved electronic music and DJing allowed me to connect with my creative side while keeping the music that i love fresh and new. As a novice DJ, I’m excited to share some of my proudest work at this event. One of my dreams was to create a mix and now I have a deadline to motivate me to work towards that goal.”
-
TRINIDY
“I make music and surround myself in it. I feel alone a lot, music keeps me grounded to life and what’s real. I just want to make people feel anything from my music, as long as it helps them forget about whatever they got going on. Resonating with people is and will always be the long term goal.”
-
NANDY HERNANDEZ
“I consider myself an artist with paint and a canvas, but I also extend my artistry with sewing and crafts. Overall, painting is my passion and it has been a part of my life forever. It’s not only a hobby for me, but a true identification of who I am. Growing up as a quiet kid, art was my form of escape into my own world. Art is not just for the eyes of others, but chicken noodle soup for the artist’s soul.”
-
ISAIAH FLORES
“My name is Isaiah Flores, and I am a 22 year-old visual artist, illustrator, and a sophomore at Palo Alto College. Being born and raised in San Antonio has had a big impact on my art, as well as being a 3rd generation Mexican. My medium is a mix of graphite and digital, with a focus on digital painting. 2024 saw the release of my debut series “ Solitude Sober”. What shaped me the most as an artist was when a people related to my art and felt seen by it. One person bought one of my pieces for their friend to congratulate them on a full year of sobriety. It made my journey worth it.”
-
Slick Fire
Every thousand years, they awaken to save the rap game. At Chadacon, Slick Fire will take the stage one final time. They promise a set full of surprises, including new songs from their final album coming soon.
-
LUCAS COLLINS
“I write because it’s the only thing that feels sane to do sometimes. I have been a practitioner of theatre since I was 8 years old (Acting, Directing, Stage Management Wardrobe, etc...), but writing has always been MY way of expressing myself and my ideas. I want my work to change how someone sees the world, or at least spark a train of thought for people to begin thinking of how the world can be changed and how they can change it, or why the world is this way and why they feel a certain way about it and how can that be changed (always for the better)”
-
CORBEN JIMENEZ
“I’m a full time tattoo artist specializing in folky/American traditional inspired style, I’m a dumpster diver, antique enthusiast, junker, and a mixed media artist. Fairly recently I’ve experienced a death of my mentor in tattooing. With that has brought a heavy dose of reality, anxiety, and a deep focus in self reflection. Ever since he’s passed I feel my art has developed further because of that. I never want to make the viewer conform to my idea of a main message, I feel that’s the beauty of art and expression.
-
Gabriela Medina
“I am a photographer/videographer who loves to edit. I’ve learned I love to see the world through as many different perspectives as I can hold and hope my art encourages the audience to do so as well. For me, it was a divine experience; having a moment where the higher power removed all the limiting beliefs that kept me stuck inside this cage I had built for myself. Prior to that moment, I didn’t realize dreams could be actualized into reality. I felt like God was calling me to fly, so I jumped into the adventure. Now, I focus on helping others learn to fly.
-
TODA SPOOKY
“I try to make very entertaining things currently just music and YouTube videos. My biggest forming moment is my hatred for old people and their close mindedness”
-
Meagan Deiss
I am a painting instructor, live fashion sketcher, and multimedia artist. I've been making art for others as long as I can remember—literally. In pre-K, I had show & tell coming up. Most kids brought in a toy, or cool gadget to show off. But 4 year old me? I decided I wanted everyone to feel seen instead. Back then my scribbles weren't anything noteworthy to behold, mind you! But even at a young age I knew, art is about connecting with others. I take that with me still, wanting myself to be seen in my work, but to also show others that THEY are seen as well.
-
OSMAR VILLEGAS
“I like to consider myself an artist in most aspects (film, writing, music, etc). The first time I competently performed music was a pretty special moment for me. I’ve performed before but not playing something of my own making. Being proud of something you make while having fun doing it is just the best feeling. Small unique art will always be superior to large professional mediocrity.”
-
ANTONIO GOMEZ
“I do paint using medias such Acrylic, oil, watercolor, digital Photo Manipulation and more. As a kid, going to my Father's tiles factory playing with the colors helped shape me as an artist. I hope my work can allow people to get transported to another dimension and provoke a feeling of peace and calm.”
-
Nikki Curry
My name is Nikki Curry, I'm from San Antonio and received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying animation. I'm a concept artist, background designer, and producer for animation. In the work that I create I like to focus on cinematography, storytelling, and color. I've been creating art since I was a child and have always had a strong interest in working with teams to create large projects like an animated short, video game, zine, or anything that allows me to work with cool people! To have someone see my work and also have there days feel better would make me feel fulfilled as an artist.
-
KYE BAYONA
“I create from my feelings and experiences. Out of an urge or instinct. I can’t help but to create. I want to explore every part of this life and myself thru my art. What has shaped me as an artist is the fact that after all this time it is the one thing that I continue to stick with. And because of that I cannot stop and I will keep pushing the limits of what I am capable of. I want people to feel the things they don’t want to feel, I want them to feel things they didn’t know they could feel, I want them to feel what I am feeling. I want people to recognize that they are capable of anything and that if that urge and feeling is there then why not act upon it.”
-
BrainFlowers
I'm a Guatemalan-American multimedia artist and musician/songwriter from NYC currently studying Art and Psychology at San Antonio College. I've had a love of drawing since I was a young girl, and since then it's combined into a love for art in all its forms. I particularly enjoy photography (both film and digital) as well as working with charcoal, watercolor, and oil. I'd like the audience to reflect on the many dualities of life and nature that are also inherent within us. Whether it's light and shadow, or love and hate, both are aspects that make up one whole and are both needed to be in balance with each other.
-
JOEY YOSEF
“I’m a visual artist that specializes in traditional & digital paintings. In 2023 I was in a serious motorcycle accident that resulted in me losing my ability to walk for almost 2 years. All of my worldly possessions had to be sold to keep afloat and I was in an extreme amount of medical debt. To cope with the physical pain and mental anguish I threw myself into my art work like never before. Fast forward another year, I’ve learned to walk again, got my mind right, and became apart of a beautiful community of local artists in San Antonio. All the glory is to God. I hope people see through my work and realize that suffering can be meaningful.
-
JOSE MORALES
“I am a visual and performing artist. Photography is my favorite way to capture fleeting moments in time as all things are ephemeral. I treat the framing of a photograph like the staging of a show; the borders of a camera compare to the proscenium of a theater. Lighting and composition function similarly in both arts, and I find that my endeavors in one inspire the craft of the other.”
-
Kate Emerson
I am an acrylic painter that started out as a digital artist, hence why I use such vibrant colors and stylized shapes in my art. I initially started drawing because, what else was there to do? But now, it's the main thing that motivates me in the mornings and gets me through the week. The driving force behind my art is wanting to capture the feeling of a sunny day not just for myself but for others. I hope that my paintings invoke joy and at times even nostalgia, from a beach collection to more hill country scenes I believe we can all connect to the imagery in some way either from childhood to present day car rides.
-
JASON MARTINEZ
“I am a filmmaker, videographer, and photographer among many other things. My passion is in sharing stories and doing work that matters. My first video shoot for my current job helped shape me. I traveled out to a rural library in North Texas and interviewed a librarian about the struggles her library faces and the many wonderful things her library provides to her community. It made me want to share important stories like this that nobody is hearing. "Do work that matters."
-
DANIEL CAMPOS
“My name is Daniel Campos, I’m a Colombian filmmaker, storyteller, and visual artist based in San Antonio, Texas. Specializing in writing, directing, editing, and cinematography, I’m proud of the fact that I often take on multiple roles in my projects because I believe in taking full creative ownership of my vision. I want people to walk away from my work feeling something real. Whether it is discomfort, empathy, reflection, or that lingering chill you get after watching something that hits too close to home, I want my films to leave an impact.
-
DILLON CARAVEO
“I'm an aspiring filmmaker, drawn to telling stories that excite, entertain, and maybe even share a laugh. I started out making silly little videos with my friends and family and posting them on YouTube as a kid. My creative journey is a bit dysfunctional and instinct-driven - making stuff on shoestring budgets, experimenting with trial and error, but trusting my gut and diving into an idea I'm passionate about, rather that trusting my inner critic. I hope people can take away that mindset is everything. Whether a situation feels ridiculous, hopeless, or even tragic, it really is all a matter of perspective.”
-
JACQUOLINE MARSHALL
“I love to paint, draw, sculpt, any expression that i can get my hands in. Plant motifs and organic shapes are my main mode of expression. I started my painting journey in my studies at the University of the Incarnate Word, and have grown confident in my ability to capture different aspects of manmade structures in contrast with the natural world. My goal is to elicit appreciation for nature, either for pure aesthetics or ecological reasons.”
-
JACKSUN
“I am an artist, and the main service I provide through my art is murals. Art is intrinsically human, so it should exist alongside humanity. It should be on every street corner, in every shop, on every house, and every building. Murals amplify the creativity and artistic nature of our humanity, so the more that there are, the more that people are inspired to create. So when people ask me, what do I do? My most simple answer is I try to make the world more beautiful. And I try to exemplify beauty where it is normally overlooked.
-
Andrew McBurney
“I do photography as a hobby, focusing on black and white images of city streets and lesser known sights. There wasn't really a single moment where I thought, “Hey, that would make a great picture,” and decided to make photography a hobby. But over the years, after many sights of “regular life” that I thought would make a great photo or drawing, and now having the convenience of a good camera in my phone, I make a point to pause when I see something, and take the shot. What we do in our lives, day to day, matters.”
-
SALOME JOYAS
“I make sculptures and paintings. When I was little I looked up to my older sister who was also into art, so me and her would sit together and draw or paint. Then I did it with my grandpa, then my mom and i just realized I really enjoyed creating art with the people around me so I ended up loving art and the way I can show how I see the world and how I feel in a way others can see.”
-
KEIVON DICKERSON
“I’m an Artist who works with sculpting, painting, game and music design. Being an artist meant chasing my excitement with confidence and allowing myself to operate within the absurdity of reality. To Think with the intent to manifest and create to the best of my ability.”
-
ASHER FELTON
“I do many things people consider art but I consider life as a reflection of art bypassing the stillness and giving a clear picture. I play music, and write poetry. I’ve written and sang my whole life, only recently compiling more projects into completion. To me my art represents a celebration of life. I want those who view my art to understand that they are free, from burden and sorrow. Free to create a better tomorrow.”
-
YSEÑA RODRIGUEZ
“Hello! My name is Yseña Rodriguez and I’m a multi media artist. Most of my work is self reflection and healing the inner child. I’ve always had a calling for art, I was introduced to art at a very young age and to express that part of myself. Once I graduated highschool, I knew I had to continue to explore the art world and to not let my dream go of being an artist. Now being a full time artist and getting my foot in the door of pursuing art in college and continuing to do so, is very ambitious of me. I keep surprising myself in different ways and proud to be an artist.”
-
JESSICA J HERRERA
“It starts with an idea and from there it turns into phases and much like a cocoon to butterfly my work transforms into something more. Having been in the Comic-Con scene from fan to artist, I want to say that my style was very much shaped and inspired by what comics I read and cartoons that I watched. I hope that bold and brilliant use of my colors inspire people to be bold and bright.”
-
Laura “KP” Garcia
I’ve been doing video work for the past 16 years, which has naturally overlapped into the audio and photography realm. Recently I’ve been focusing on analog documentary/street photography. Living in LA for three years introduced me to a different way of looking at life and opened my mind to what art could be. I hope to capture moments of pride and confidence, and I hope that viewers can feel that through my images.”
-
Rainbo
“I’m an abstract artist that is inspired by the colors I see throughout the San Antonio culture and the colorful world we live in. I would say the best moment that shaped me as an artist today is the connections I made throughout my life and the friendships I have made along the way. This journey is never ending, I am realizing that I see art in everyday life. I hope they see beauty in art. They see vivid color and the beauty life in those colors”
-
Khadijah “Dia” Green
I’m Dia! I am a Freelance Artist and Entrepreneur. Dia's Heart is my passion, where I create Heavenly Art from the Heart. God is within all that I do on Earth as it is in heaven. Since highschool I’ve been known to many as "Hobo Dia" I taught High School Art, including AP, for four years before transitioning to a stay at home mom and full-time artist. I hope people see love. The message in most of my work is based on love, promises of God, my life journey, and spreading awareness about marginalized communities.
-
Anthony Wilson (BLYSS)
“I'm a digital artist and painter. I have worked with Revolt TV, Adult Swim, Universal Music, Chris Brown and the Auracles. I was born and raised in San Antonio and trying to make a long lasting impact on the art scene. There are no rules to art.”
-
Vikky Jones
I've been an artist since I could hold a crayon. Fast forward, I have my BFA & MFA from UTSA in painting and drawing, but my work's roots have always been in collage. In grad school it was the biggest critique of my work that I was "trying too hard" with my "messages," but I learned my best pieces are made intuitively and I leave everything open to interpretation. I appreciate every interpretation read of my work, but my favorite compliment is that it's unique.
-
Cowboy Angel
“I’m currently an independent seamstress working for the local community and also pursuing the dreams of being a fashion designer. I provide services that are typically at a high charge - with simply doing out of my heart and love for what I do. I’ve always been interested in learning new ways to express myself and grow as a person but fashion was what stuck out to me most. clothing recycling is an awesome way to deal with the mass bags stuffed in every story. It’s all about having fun and just getting to enjoy something - bring something home and have it fairly priced”
-
Gloria Rosado
I’m an oil painter and digital artist whose work centers around the intersection of evangelical Christianity, Puerto Rican heritage, and retro gaming culture. My creative journey began as a way to cope with personal struggles, but it has since evolved into a passionate testimony of spiritual growth and emotional healing. I aim to inspire others to cherish their roots, honor their families, and seek spiritual growth. Ultimately, I want my work to be a light—a reminder of the beauty that exists in both our past and present, and an invitation to find joy, healing, and belonging in the journey.
-
Zach Landes
“I am a filmmaker. Everything started when I watched the original Cinderella in the first grade. From then, I would create movies in my head. When I was in the 9th, I learned how to write a screenplay, and I started writing scripts for the films in my head. When I was a junior in high school, I finally took the limited resources I had access to and made my first short film, Shadow. I have recently graduated from The University of Texas. I want all my films to be experiences of a unique perspective that encourages empathy and understanding from my audiences to not just the characters in my films, but the people in their lives.”
-
Kristin Paredez Tuttle
I am a speech language pathologist! I work with children/pediatric populations with speech and feeding issues such as non verbal children, medically fragile populations, and other diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder. I want people to feel inspired to treat others and their environment with love and respect as well as approach life with a sense of wonder and a smidge of darkness and unique perspective.
-
Sofia Duran-Stanton / SOLODUST
I started learning about other artists and their process and started to paint more, and sort of had a break-through (This was literally last summer and I can name the artists: Yoshitomo Nara, Basquiat, Tomokazu Komiya, Kawayoo) In my senior year of high school I knew a freshman who was kind of the first person in real life that matched my style and we had overlapping taste in art. In our ceramics class together, she started making a doll out of clay and that really impressed me and sort of got it into my head that “Wow, we can really make whatever the fuck we want.”
-
Ruby Flores / Coffin Cutie Artistry
I am a mixed-media artist, who loves to venture onto many different creative paths. I love to paint, sew, sculpt, and more. As a licensed cosmetologist, I use my art skills to transform it into beauty. I started as a young girl, being taught by my father how to draw, from then I knew I always wanted to pursue a creative path in all that I do. As a teenager, I used art as an escape. Now as an adult, I hope to use my art as an outlet to heal. For me, art is survival. Art is an escape, an outlet, a teacher, and a healer. Without art, I am not truly living.
-
Mario Alberto Quintanilla
I am a welder by trade. My journey is all over, I love all mediums and wish I had an extra set of hands to be able to complete more projects. When people see my art, I’d like people to say ‘oh man what an idea, I hadn’t thought of that.”
-
Anastassia RX
I am a fine artists born and raised in Santiago, Chile who now lives in San Antonio, TX. As a multimedia artist, I mainly do painting and drawing. Subject matter and themes have been a mix of heritage, immigration, dislocation and seeding new ideas in a different culture and space. Today, I find myself leaning towards mural works while also vending at different events. I hope to weaves my heritage into a universal language, building bridges between cultures through meaningful and expressive work
-
Space Solstice
A universal harmony, the return is near.
-
Ian San Martin
I am a comedian and puppet maker. I want people to consider the connectivity and similarities in our shared experiences.
-
Constanza Ibarra Gomez
I have always tried to do something creative. When I was little it was silly poetry or doodling. Then badly singing and performing in the living room. When I started High-school I fell in love with theater, poetry and make up. Life has a way of ripping you away from the things you love doing, but right now I am just fighting the monster that is routine to find my path again.
-
Joaquin Santillan
I like making videos, I like making images, and I like making sounds that resonate with people (or even just hype them up). I always aim to lift people up through my projects and inspire them to express their lives through their work. Life is too short to keep our stories to ourselves! I want people to have the confidence in themselves to try something new and different without fear of imperfection or falling outside of the zeitgeist!
-
Candice Tharp Rodriguez
At Candice’s Curiosities I create handmade journals and ephemera by using repurposed, vintage and locally sourced materials. My creative process is deeply intuitive; driven by texture, color and emotion, so no two journals are ever the same. I began making these journals during a season of grief, and it reminded me how creativity can hold space for our most tender moments. Now I am sharing this journey with others, offering not just a product, but an invitation to connect with your inner self.

Brainflowers
I'm a Guatemalan-American multimedia artist and musician/songwriter from NYC currently studying Art and Psychology at San Antonio College. I've had a love of drawing since I was a young girl, and since then it's combined into a love for art in all its forms. I think one of my defining moments was when I lived in the Lower East Side in NYC back in 2018 and had just recently overcome homelessness. That year I challenged myself to take a photo every day with my instant camera of my daily life.
-
Nikki Slicks
I’m a first-year tattoo artist who’s eager to showcase my work beyond just my tattoos. I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, dedicating countless hours to learning new skills, styles, and mediums. Every skill I acquire is translated into tattooing, allowing me to express myself on skin. It’s an ongoing journey of improvement. To enhance my skills and myself, I always surround myself with talented artists that push me to do better everyday. Interpret the story however you want, as long as it fits into your own narrative.
-
Bo Gonzo
I’m a mixed media artist from SATX. My work blends collage, paint markers, acrylic paint, and fine line ink to explore themes like identity, isolation, pop culture references, and a darker, baroque-inspired aesthetic. I initially started by recreating pop culture icons like Mars Attacks! and Donnie Darko, but over time, my work evolved into a style that feels raw, emotional, and still kind of cinematic—like art that tells the truth, even if it’s a little messy or weird.
-
Antonio Penn
I use photoshop in my free time to make stuff that reflects what I’m feeling in moments of stress. I hope people feel my work is good and the message is that I’m The Goat.

Daniel cantu
I make traditional art pieces and have been in love with art and creation since i was a child. I started doing sketchbooks in 6th grade and have enjoyed making collage like spreads that I post on my Instagram mainly. I think a defining moment for me was when i took my first art class with an amazing teacher in 8th grade, he really inspired me. And also when i was little watching cel animation and stop motion wondering how it worked.
